Not to replace Fame and Laika, but just to have another creature to take care of, to tell all your frustrations to, to keep you company when you're lonely, etc. You'll still be sad about your past pets, but it will be nice to have another one to keep you busy.
I hope you feel better soon!Alissa@CraftyEndeavor.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15353086984645841227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6618975820663748250.post-2802260371005356552011-02-11T15:15:48.688-08:002011-02-11T15:15:48.688-08:00I have had a lot of animals in my life, I raised d...I have had a lot of animals in my life, I raised dogs for 35 years and have always had horses. It is always sad to lose them but often I feel that I had a wonderful time, they had a good life and life moves on. However, there have been a handful that even though they are long gone, will still bring a gulp, a tear and a pain when I think about the fact that they are no longer here. The ones that are still in my mind everyday, the ones that I can still feel their soft hair, still see the glint in their eyes. Those are special relationships, don't feel bad that you treasured them and miss them.
On a happier note, have you considered a new animal in your life? I have lived with the idea that "in continuity there is consolation." Animals accept death, we can accept it, move on and have other animals in our lives without forgetting the ones that have gone.Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01571711150060964222noreply@blogger.com
